Austin's Promotion Ceremony was held June 2nd. It was held at the local High school and the kids were given a medal and some awards for special accomplishments. Austin received the president's Award for Academic Excellence which means his entire elementary school career he maintained a 3.5 GPA and scored above the 85% level on his NRTs which is standardized testing across the country. so basically he scored in the top 15% of elementary school kids across the country. He received a certificate, they read a letter from president Bush, and a pin with the president's award seal on it.
